The appearance of the Yuangwang U7 PHEV was unveiled at the previous auto show, and its design is no longer unfamiliar to friends who follow BYD.The Yuangwang U7 PHEV adopts a design language similar to that of the Yuanwang U9. Its front face features a closed design and is equipped with a very exaggerated C-shaped headlight group, with the high and low beam light groups above and LED light strips around them.The engine hood has raised lines, enhancing the visual impact of the entire front.The small protrusion above the headlights indicates that the new car will be equipped with a lidar.
On the side of the vehicle, the new car has a sleek overall shape. Through the application of multiple lines, it adds a sense of layering. The front fender is equipped with a spoiler design, and it adopts the hidden door handle commonly seen in new energy vehicles, which helps to improve aerodynamics. The rear of the car features a full-width taillight group, with the brand logo of Yangwang in the middle, which has a strong sense of recognition.
In terms of body dimensions, the new car has a length, width and height of 5265mm, 1998mm and 1517mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3160mm. Compared with the 5235mm, 1990mm, 1500mm and 3125mm of the Denza Z9, they are basically at the same level, with the former having a 35mm advantage in wheelbase. In terms of body size, the Yuangwang U7 PHEV is close to the level of a large sedan.
In terms of interior, the new car's center console adopts a symmetrical design. In terms of power, the Yangwang U7 PHEV adopts the Easy Four-Wheel Drive technology. According to the application, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T engine and four motors. The Denza Z9 uses an engine and three motors for its power system. The 2.0T engine, model BYD4H20, has a maximum power of 200kw. The two front motors, model Z220XYBC, have a maximum power of 260kw, and the two rear motors, model TZ220XYBN, have a maximum power of 240kw. In terms of battery power, the new car uses a lithium iron phosphate battery. In terms of performance, the top speed of the Yangwang U7 PHEV can reach 270km/h, which has certain advantages over domestic vehicles of the same level.
