Omnidirectional Vectoring Chassis Control
The HiPhi's tri-electric motor setup comes standard with a clever omnidirectional vectoring chassis control system. With this, the drivetrain can appropriately divide its power output between the single electric motor up front and two motors on the rear axle. This optimizes traction, making for safer and faster cornering abilities. The system also includes an all-wheel steering configuration for sharper maneuvers.

800V Electric Architecture
Critics targeted the HiPhi Z crossover for lacking an 800-volt charging system. The Chinese manufacturer took these comments seriously and has implemented them in the new A so that it can appropriately compete in the luxury EV segment.

Titanium Alloy Materials
To maintain a lightweight and strong construction, the HiPhi is composed of the same Titanium Alloy for its exterior panels as found in top-of-the-line aircraft. Some interior panels make use of the same material. Titanium alloy is a very expensive and challenging metal to work with, but there are significant advantages to be had.

Forged Carbon Fiber Components
Combining the titanium alloy with forged carbon gives the HiPhi A a very intense and focused appearance, both inside and out. Manufacturers use this chic material for some aerodynamic components, like the massive rear wing, and interior trimmings, including the bucket seats, center console, and door inserts.

Carbon Fiber Battery Pack
The HiPhi uses an ingenious carbon fiber battery pack that boasts significant performance, structural, and reliability benefits. Exact specifications are pending, but the brand confirms it has the ability to generate 1.5 megawatts of peak power, which is the equivalent of over 2,000 horsepower. This implies that the battery operates at just over half of its capacity when driving the A at full speed.

Exterior LED Messaging Display
Manufacturers have been pushing the boundaries when it comes to automotive connectivity and communication, but not many think about introducing basic communication functions like the simple but smart Star Ring Intelligent Signal Display located on the HiPhi A's door panels. This is the same display system found on the HiPhi Z, on which the A is based.

Intelligent Self-Opening Doors
The HiPhi A inherits the Z's intelligent front and rear carriage doors, making for a more comfortable entry and entrance experience. HiPhi integrates an ultra-wideband sensor to detect the key fob's proximity. Once detected, the doors will open at the perfect time and angle, making the door handles completely obsolete.

Downscaled Digital Displays
While the HiPhi Z goes all out with its digital display interface that spans across the dashboard, the A only incorporates the central rotating display for the sake of creating a more driver-focused cockpit experience. An eight-direction, infinitely adjustable, high-speed motion robotic arm mounts this unit and accommodates a multitude of angles, allowing the driver or passenger to set it to the perfect position.

Advanced Autonomous Driving Abilities
The HiPhi A features some semi-autonomous advanced driving assistance technology but lacks Hesai Technology's LiDAR system. This absence is evident because the bulky roof-mounted LiDAR unit seen on the Z is not present. We can see a sensor and camera unit located at the top of the windshield, indicating some use of assistance technology.
