On the evening of July 15th, Gaohe officially unveiled their third new model - the Gaohe HiPhi Y Pure electric SUV. The launch introduced a total of four configuration models, offering three optional cruising ranges and a price range between 339,000 to 449,000 CNY. Positioned as a medium-to-large pure electric SUV, this new vehicle retains its second-generation NT smart wing door feature, further emphasizing its highly advanced technological characteristics.

The launch introduced a total of four configuration models, offering three optional cruising ranges and a price range between 339,000 to 449,000 CNY. Positioned as a medium-to-large pure electric SUV, the new vehicle retains the second-generation NT smart wing door feature, further emphasizing its exceptionally futuristic technological characteristics.

The new car's appearance bears a striking resemblance to that of a smaller HiPhi Y Car upon initial observation. The front section maintains the family design features, exuding simplicity, smoothness, and fullness in shape. On both sides of the penetrating LED light cluster, there are still uniquely shaped light panels capable of displaying various lighting effects. Additionally, the lower trapezoidal grille incorporates straight waterfall line decoration to avoid appearing monotonous.

The body features sharp and angular sides, presenting a square shape. At first glance, there may not be any apparent design focal point; however, surprises lie within the intricate details. The suspended roof structure, concealed door handles, and frameless doors are all standard configurations across the entire series. The rear door incorporates the recognizable second-generation NT intelligent wing door design that never fails to capture attention when opened from any angle. Complementing this aesthetic are sleek black wheel arches paired with brand-new 21-inch low-drag wheels, exuding a distinctly mechanical allure.

The rear of the HiPhi Y Pure electric SUV features a sleek and minimalist design, highlighted by a distinctive Y-shaped through-type taillight arrangement and an imposing large-sized diffuser decoration below. This creates a strong sense of visual hierarchy. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4938/ 1958/ 1658mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase measuring 2950mm – slightly smaller than that of the HiPhi X.

Upon initial observation, the interior of the new vehicle appears more streamlined compared to its predecessors, featuring minimal extravagant embellishments. However, in terms of technological ambiance, it undeniably stands out among current electric vehicles. Firstly, the double-spoke steering wheel boasts a distinctive design with dual-color coordination and is complemented by a touch panel and unique decorations. Additionally, the front showcases a fully digital LCD instrument panel alongside an advanced HUD head-up display.

The 17-inch OLED vertical screen in the central control area boasts impeccable functionality and seamless performance, ensuring a highly convenient daily operational experience. Additionally, the co-pilot is equipped with a 15-inch entertainment screen to cater to the needs of other passengers. Moreover, this vehicle is also furnished with premium British treasure audio, mobile phone wireless charging capabilities, and other advanced configurations.

The car now features a spacious five-seater layout, providing ample rear space. The entire series boasts leather seats, with both the driver and front passenger seats offering electric adjustment, seat heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The second-row seats allow for backrest angle adjustment and are equipped with heating capabilities. Additionally, the top model includes a convenient rear small table.

In terms of power, the HiPhi Y offers options for rear-mounted single-motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive configurations. The rear-mounted single-motor model boasts a maximum power output of 247kW and a peak torque of 410 Nm. The dual-motor four-wheel drive version delivers an impressive maximum power output of 371kW, with a peak torque of 210 Nm at the front and 410 Nm at the rear, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.7 seconds. Additionally, there are two battery capacity options available: 76.6kWh and 115kWh, providing cruising ranges of respectively up to 560km,765km, and810km. Notably, this cutting-edge vehicle is equipped with standard rear-wheel steering functionality that enhances practicality.

Judging from the overall performance of the vehicle, HiPhi Y demonstrates a highly intriguing level of competitiveness. Its primary rivals include Denza N7 and Avatr 11, among others. While Gaohe HiPhi Y does not face any issues in terms of vehicular competitiveness, it does suffer from a disadvantage in brand recognition. Numerous acquaintances within the HiPhi Auto community remain unfamiliar with it.
