According to Tesla's official website, the company raised the prices of Model S and Model X in the US by $2,000 each on Thursday. The information on the website shows that the price of the Model X all-wheel drive board has risen to $79,990; the Plaid version has risen to $94,990; the price of the Model S all-wheel drive board has risen to $74,990; the Plaid version has risen to $89,990.


It is reported that Tesla lowered the prices of these models by $2,000 each in April this year before releasing its first-quarter earnings report. For reference, the price of the Model X in China is 724.9 thousand to 824.9 thousand yuan, positioned as a medium and large-sized SUV, with two models for sale, namely the 670 horsepower dual-motor all-wheel drive version and the 1020 horsepower three-motor all-wheel drive Plaid version. The Model S is positioned as a medium and large-sized pure electric sedan, with two models for sale, namely the dual-motor and three-motor Plaid version.


Tesla has raised the price of some models in the US, and it is likely to raise the price of the corresponding models in China. It is worth mentioning that according to the delivery data announced by Tesla and the data released by the China Passenger Car Association, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory delivered 71,007 vehicles in June, with sales of 59,261 vehicles in China, up 7.3% from the previous month; in the second quarter of this year, Tesla's China sales rose 10.2% month-on-month, totaling 444,000 vehicles, with total production of approximately 411,000 vehicles.
