The Lixiang MEGA Pure Electric MPV will start deliveries from March 11, with pre-order customers and those who have made a deposit before March 11 receiving a free upgrade to a 20kW DC charging station or 6,000 kWh of Ideal Supercharging privileges. Customers who place orders between March 11 and April 30 will receive 3,000 kWh of Ideal Supercharging privileges.
Seeing MEGA's unique design, many people may think it was created to grab attention, but the shape was actually designed for functionality - aerodynamics, which was also the breakthrough point for Li Ideal in creating this MPV. The ideal MEGA's intelligent driving configuration is consistent with the L series, it will be equipped with AD Max intelligent driving hardware, with two NVIDIA Orin-X intelligent driving chips, a computing power of 508TOPS, equipped with a 128-line laser radar, 11 cameras, 1 forward millimeter wave radar, and 12 ultrasonic radars. The battery part of the car is equipped with the Phoenix 5C battery developed by Ideal and CATL, with a capacity of 102.7kWh, which gives it a CLTC range of 710km. In terms of charging, the official data shows that it can achieve a charging speed of 500km in 12 minutes with supercharging, and the peak charging power is 520kW. In addition, it supports a 3.5kW external power supply function.
The car adopts a front double wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension system. It is worth mentioning that it is equipped with dual-chamber air suspension as standard, matched with a CDC variable damping shock absorber. Official data shows that by December 31, 2023, the Ideal 5C super charging station has completed 300 stations and is connected in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and Chengdu-Chongqing core cities. The target for 2024 is to have more than 2,000 super charging stations online, achieving 70% coverage of the national expressway main lines and 50% coverage of the core urban areas of cities with a population of three million or more.
