The Deepal G318 New Energy SUV will officially go on sale on June 13th. This car is positioned as a mid-size SUV and features a monocoque body, extended range power, all-wheel drive system, and dual differential lock. The Deepal G318 also offers a wide range of original accessories, including roof racks, spotlights, electric pedals, spare tires, etc.

In terms of appearance, the car adopts a tough and rugged square box shape, with a wide and thick front bumper and an overall darkened design on the front face. The C-shaped headlights on both sides complement the strong and sporty styling. In addition, the Deepal G318 also features a roof searchlight that can illuminate an area of 250m², combined with a luggage rack to showcase the exquisite feel of original accessories.

In terms of the vehicle's side profile, the new car still maintains a rugged and straight line design, with widened off-road skid plates on the side skirts and front/rear wheel arches. The Deepal G318 features 18-inch five-spoke wheels that resemble robust bands and anti-detachment rims. According to official statements, its roof rack has a dynamic load capacity of up to 80kg and a static load capacity of an impressive 300kg. It can also be equipped with a rooftop tent to create dual-level space for accommodating five people for rest.

In the rear part of the car, the deepal G318 takes "Space Gate" as its theme. The main body is formed by the rear window glass and the black piece below it, while the volumes on both sides extend and intersect to form a supporting structure that provides stable and powerful support for the tail. The solid and heavy surround shape, together with a full-size external spare tire, gives this rugged off-road vehicle a distinctive identity. In addition, this car will be equipped with an original factory tow hook and high-mounted brake light to further ensure safe off-road driving. In terms of dimensions, the length, width, and height of this car are 5010/1985/1960mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2880mm.

In terms of interior design, the overall concept follows a rugged off-road style. The large and straight contour lines create a solid center console shape, complemented by numerous physical buttons, a wide gear lever, and hollow armrests. This facilitates functional operations in various driving conditions and enhances driving safety. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a large-sized instrument screen and a 14.6-inch central control screen to create an impressive sense of technology.

It is worth mentioning that the car also offers a one-touch reclining seat design, with the trunk capacity expandable from 818L to 1747L, and featuring 31 storage space designs, providing great flexibility and versatility inside the vehicle.

In terms of powertrain, the Deepal G318 New Energy SUV will come equipped with a range-extender hybrid system. The turbocharged engine with a displacement size of 1.5 liters can deliver up to a maximum output power of 150 horsepower. There are two versions available - one with only one electric motor and another with two electric motors installed on board. For the single-electric motor version, its peak performance reaches up to an impressive level at around185 kilowatts; whereas for the all-wheel-drive variant featuring both front and rear electric motors,the former generates approximately 131 kilowatts while the latter produces about185 kilowatts, resulting in a combined system out put power of 316kw. The comprehensive range of the vehicle reaches 1000km, with a pure electric range of 190km under CLTC conditions. It is reported that when the battery is depleted, the fuel consumption can also achieve 6.7L/100km (CLTC). In addition, the vehicle adopts a double-wishbone + multi-link suspension system for its chassis and is equipped with an all-wheel drive system and dual differential lock, as well as a 6kW external power output function.
