We have obtained information from Ford's official sources that a total of 7 models will be unveiled during the Chengdu Auto Show, including the all-new Ford Explorer and the Explorer Kunlun Summit Edition, the Ford Bronco, the Ford Ranger Adventure, the Mondeo Sport and the Mondeo Sport ST-Line, and the all-new Ford Mustang.
● The all-new Ford Explorer and the Explorer Kunlun Summit Edition:
The Chengdu Auto Show will be the debut of the all-new Ford Explorer and the Explorer Kunlun Summit Edition. The exterior of the all-new Ford Explorer is the same as the current model, and it does not use the latest exterior design that was released overseas. It is powered by a 2.3T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which produces 276 horsepower and 425 Nm of torque. The transmission system will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, with a top speed of 200 km/h. The car has a length, width, and height of 5063/2004/1778mm, and a wheelbase of 3025mm. The Explorer Kunlun Summit Edition is 19mm taller than the regular version, and it has a maximum towing capacity of 2.1 tons. The engine power has been increased to 213kW.
● The all-new Ford Mustang:
The legendary American performance sports car, the all-new Ford Mustang, will also be unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show. The seventh-generation Ford Mustang has introduced a convertible version for the first time, powered by a 2.3T EcoBoost turbocharged engine, which produces 299 horsepower and 453 Nm of torque. The Ford Mustang Mach-E will be equipped with the Ford SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission, with a 0-to-100km/h acceleration time of 5.3 seconds for the hardtop version and 5.6 seconds for the convertible version.
● Ford High-Power E-Hybrid All-Models: Ford Mondeo Sport, Ford Mondeo Sport ST-Line.
The two new cars were officially launched on June 7 this year, equipped with the EcoBoost E-Hybrid system consisting of a 2.0T engine and a motor, with a system combined power of 227kW, matched with an E-CVT transmission. The car's length, width, and height are 4920/1920/1600mm, with a wheelbase of 2945mm. Compared to the current Mondeo, the car is slightly shorter in length, wider, and taller. The two versions are priced at 20.98 million yuan and 22.98 million yuan respectively.
