Subaru is set to introduce a new hybrid version and a Wilderness off-road version of the Forester SUV this summer. The hybrid version, priced at $34,995, focuses on fuel economy with significantly reduced combined fuel consumption. The Wilderness version, on the other hand, features a higher ground clearance and an upgraded transmission cooler, enhancing its towing capacity.

Previously, the spy photos of the all-new Forester Hybrid have been exposed. It is expected that the appearance of this car will have relatively obvious adjustments. In terms of power, it will be equipped with a hybrid system developed in cooperation with Toyota. This system consists of a 2.5L horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. The maximum power of the engine may be 160 horsepower, and the maximum power of the electric motor may be 119.6 horsepower. The combined range will exceed 1,000 kilometers.
