Today, XPeng Motors officially announced the progress of XNGP intelligent driving assistance in the X9 launch event, after opening 27 cities last week, it has expanded its coverage to 191 cities, with a total of 243 cities covered, continuing to lead the industry in the number of cities with full-scale intelligent driving open. Indeed, it's a new species

Let's take a look at the exterior. The X9 adopts the Starship design language, with many sharp lines used in the overall outline, the shape is very avant-garde. Looking at the front of the car, the familiar X-Robot family-style front face is still there, with a striking one-piece through car light, and a star-shaped butterfly gradient front grille, with what XPeng calls the Energy Crystal decoration, which looks similar to the front grille details of the Lexus LM, no doubt about it, full of high-end MPV elements. The space performance is comprehensive and in place

When it comes to the seat layout in the car, it adopts a 2+2+3 layout. In terms of the trunk space, the vehicle features a sunken trunk design to maximize the use of the rear space, with a super large expandable volume of 755-2554L. As the flagship model of the Fuyao architecture, the X9 from Xpeng will inherit the core technologies of the Fuyao architecture such as the full-area 800V and front and rear monolithic aluminum casting, as well as the XNGP. It is also the first mass-produced model in China to use a monolithic aluminum casting body in the front and rear, and it becomes the only MPV model in the world to be equipped with rear wheel steering.

This monolithic aluminum casting body is produced by the world's largest 12,000-ton press machine, and the utilization rate of the welding line area is also increased by more than 30% compared with traditional processes, with improved product quality, precision, and yield rate. Thanks to the 1700MPa reinforced hot-stamped steel rear anti-collision beam, ultra-large cross-section coefficient of extruded aluminum longitudinal beams designed with a rear integrated casting technology, and the X-axis maximum distance of 790mm from the rear bumper to the third-row seat back, the XPeng X9 can meet the 88km/h rear impact requirements, providing a sufficient design for safety distance.

Regarding the rear-wheel steering, the XPeng X9 adopts the latest generation of rear-wheel steering products from ZF, with a rear wheel steering angle of ±5°, combined with the large steering angle of the front wheels, the turning diameter of the XPeng X9 is 10.8 meters, which can be considered as the best performance in the same level. In terms of function, the XPeng X9 has built a full-stack self-developed team, and the rear-wheel steering unit is innovatively placed in front, combined with the newly designed rear H-arm multi-link independent suspension, which ensures the space and flexibility of the trunk.

In terms of power, the car will provide single-motor and dual-motor versions for consumers to choose, with the former having a maximum power of 235 kilowatts; the latter has a maximum power of 235 kilowatts for the front motor and 135 kilowatts for the rear motor.
