MIFA 9 Plug-in Hybrid MPV

On June 7, the MIFA 9 Super Hybrid (plug-in hybrid version) from SAIC Maxus was officially launched, with a total of 6 models available. The car is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid dedicated engine, a super hybrid dedicated P1+P3 series-parallel dual motor transmission, and 24.7kWh lithium iron phosphate and 39.7kWh ternary lithium battery packs. The combined range exceeds 1,300 kilometers.

The design of the MIFA 9 Super Hybrid is round and full, and the car has two styles of front faces to choose from. One is the same as the MIFA 7, with a traditional bottom grille in a ladder shape, and the other is a large-mouth grille with a certain impact. The side view of the car is robust, and the flat roofline can further ensure the interior space. The use of chrome trim creates a certain sense of luxury.

The rear view of the car is square and full, and the taillight design is very bold, with a certain degree of recognition. At the same time, a small spoiler is installed on the top of the rear. The body size is 5270mm/2000mm/1848mm, with a wheelbase of 3200mm.

The interior of the MIFA 9 is also equipped with a one-piece connected screen design, with a touch-sensitive keypad below. The sub-instrument panel is designed in a suspended style and is equipped with a wireless charging device for mobile phones. The soft material wrapped around the center console also shows a certain sense of luxury. The new car also comes with Nappa leather seats, suede interior, second-row massage seats with a folding table, front electric seats with ventilation, heating, massage, and memory, as well as a panoramic sunroof.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid dedicated engine with a maximum power of 110 kW and a maximum torque of 235 N·m. The motor has a maximum power of 176 kW and a maximum torque of 390 N·m. It adopts the super hybrid P1+P3 serial-parallel dual motor transmission. The car is equipped with a 24.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 39.7kWh lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide battery pack, with CLTC pure electric driving range of 115 km and 225 km respectively.

Nowadays, MPV models with new energy in the market are endless, and as a large MPV, MIFA 9 Plug-in Hybrid MPV faces many competitors, including Buick GL8, Trumpchi E9, and DENZA D9. The market competition will be even more fierce. However, its affordable price is still its advantage.
