There are numerous variants of GAC AION available in the market. In July, AION Hyper GT Pure electric Sedan introduced the Hyper GT as its official entry into the high-end electric vehicle segment. According to statistics, within just two weeks of its launch, the AION Hyper GT received an overwhelming 20,000 orders. Hence, what makes Aion's inaugural high-end model, the Hyper GT, so immensely popular?

In terms of appearance, the front of the car is designed with a relatively low profile, featuring an active closed air intake grille underneath. The left and right sides are adorned with sleek black trim, imparting a sense of stability to the vehicle's lower section. The length is well-proportioned, while the interior boasts oblique light strips that are complemented by a raised design in the center, resulting in a visually harmonious effect.
 

From a side view, the car's rim is adorned with stylish discs and spokes, complemented by vibrant calipers, exuding a sporty aesthetic. Additionally, the inclusion of a rotary door adds an element of grandeur to its operation, which is relatively uncommon among models within the same class and price range. The presence of this feature enhances its competitive edge.

From the rear of the car, one can observe a three-stage electric rear spoiler. Once deployed, this spoiler extends to both sides while the middle panel remains suspended, creating an elevated and ceremonial appearance that accentuates the sporty ambiance of the vehicle's rear. This design effortlessly captures attention when driving on public roads.

In terms of spatial dimensions, the car is positioned as a medium-to-large vehicle. The car measures 4886/1885/1449 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm. The spatial parameters exhibit commendable performance. Regarding the driving space, upon adjusting the seat position of the primary driver's seat, a tester with a height of 180cm comfortably occupies the front row. The seats are upholstered in soft and comfortable leather that is more skin-friendly. Additionally, there is ample headroom.

The car is equipped with a "co-driver" seat, providing ample headrest area and adjustable leg rest support. During long-distance travel, the co-pilot seat can be reclined for comfortable resting. Additionally, the spacious sunroof offers a wide field of vision when lying down, enhancing the sense of luxury.

In terms of the interior, the instrument panel is suspended on the center console, featuring a relatively flat shape and measuring 8.8 inches in size. The left side displays essential information such as speed, gear position, and time. The middle section can present tire pressure data while the right side provides energy consumption and mileage details. Moreover, there is a spacious 14.6-inch central control screen that seamlessly switches between car-related and system-related interfaces with a simplistic UI style. Additionally, an electronic gear lever has been incorporated into the design to align with current trends.

The car is equipped with a single rear motor, boasting power parameters of 245Ps horsepower and 355N m torque. It achieves an impressive acceleration time of 6.5 seconds from 100 kilometers, showcasing excellent performance. Additionally, the car features a battery capacity of 60kWh, providing a pure electric cruising range of 560km.

In terms of test drive experience, the sports mode offers a highly responsive accelerator pedal that provides a genuine and linear feel. When accelerating rapidly, the vehicle's speed can be easily controlled with a smooth progression. The acceleration process exhibits seamless transitions. Occupying the back row, passengers enjoy stable seating posture throughout the climbing process. During emergency braking situations, the front suspension provides ample support while ensuring linear release of braking force for enhanced stability and guaranteed comfort. When entering corners at 40km/h, the car displays remarkable agility, instilling confidence in its handling capabilities. Exiting corners is accompanied by close rear-end tracking and sufficient tire grip, allowing for controllable body dynamics and excellent handling performance.

Generally speaking, the front of the car is designed with a relatively low profile, while the side features vibrant colored calipers and sleek gull-wing doors, exuding a sense of contemporary fashion. The vehicle boasts a "Queen's co-driver" system for enhanced driving experience. The spacious sunroof allows passengers to sit comfortably and enjoy ample natural light. Moreover, this car achieves an official acceleration time from 0 to 100 kilometers in just 6.5 seconds. With stable braking performance and easily controllable speed during acceleration, it offers excellent handling capabilities and impeccable build quality.
