The Denza N7 SUV is the second model of the luxury brand car jointly created by BYD and Mercedes-Benz. The new vehicle offers a total of 6 models with varying configurations, including the long-endurance version, performance version, performance Max version, and the flagship N-spor version. It is built on the upgraded e-platform 3.0, incorporating innovative designs in terms of both form and function.

The Denza N7 SUV has officially entered the market, with an official price range of 301,800-379,800 CNY, which is significantly lower than previously anticipated. This new vehicle offers a total of six models with varying configurations, including the long-endurance version, performance version, performance Max version, and the flagship N-spor model. Built upon the upgraded e-platform 3.0, this car introduces innovative designs in terms of both form and function.

The Denza N7 SUV, a collaborative creation between BYD and Mercedes-Benz, is an esteemed luxury brand in the automotive industry. Since its launch, it has garnered over 20,000 blind orders, which is quite impressive for a model of this price range. As a new energy vehicle equipped with BYD's three-electric system and supported by Mercedes-Benz performance, the Denza N7 SUV is positioned as an intelligent luxury SUV.
 

From an aesthetic perspective, the design of this car is not excessively flashy and stands in stark contrast to Denza MPV models. However, the overall design style bears some resemblance to BYD Seal, particularly evident in features such as air vents and headlights. Building upon this foundation, eyebrow-shaped light sets have been incorporated on both sides of the bumper, while a chrome-plated decorative guard has been added below it, introducing some original elements to the new vehicle.

The Denza N7 SUV is equipped with charging ports on both sides, as it features a dual gun charging function. In terms of styling, the front design is low-lying, while the cab roof boasts increased height and the rear of the car adopts a prominent shape, enhancing its overall sense of movement. To delve into further detail, the front end embodies a sports car aesthetic, while the body resembles that of a sedan and the rear takes inspiration from an SUV. Regarding dimensions, the Denza N7 measures 4860/1935/1602 mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase spanning 2940 mm. Although slightly smaller in size compared to BYD Tang DM, it offers an extended wheelbase by 120mm. Overall space performance is notably advantageous for the Denza N7.

When approaching the rear of the car, one can observe a design featuring a narrow upper section and a wider lower section, commonly employed in sports cars. The Denza N7 is also equipped with blackened through-type taillights that seamlessly connect both sides of the vehicle, providing an expansive field of vision. The overall shape exhibits a relatively rounded contour, complemented by a split U-shaped chrome-plated decorative strip positioned beneath the bumper. However, it should be noted that both the trunk lid and rear windshield adopt a symmetrical design which inadvertently results in a smaller entrance to the luggage compartment.

The Denza N7 is equipped with 5-spoke low-resistance wheels, available in two options of 19 inches and 20 inches. The entry-level models come with Pirelli tires, while the high-end models feature Continental silent tires. The tire sizes are as follows: front - 235/50 R19, rear - 255/45 R19; front - 245/45 R20, rear - 245/45 R20. With a minimum turning radius of 5.7 meters, the Denza N7's maneuverability surpasses that of the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 but falls slightly short compared to the BYD Tang DM.

In terms of interior, the hardware and features are standard. The vehicle incorporates a triple screen design, comprising a 17.3-inch central control floating screen, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch co-pilot display. It is equipped with advanced features such as a 50-inch AR-HUD head-up display, an integrated car karaoke system, comprehensive intelligent voice control capabilities, a cutting-edge 3D high-definition transparent panoramic image system, NFC digital key functionality and other innovative functions. These enhancements clearly demonstrate that the Denza N7 has successfully achieved an exceptionally intelligent digital cockpit.

The Denza Pilot high-end intelligent driving assistance system (standard version) is equipped with advanced features to handle various complex driving scenarios, including urban road conditions, high-speed driving, and parking. Specifically, it offers functions such as adaptive cruise control, RPA remote control parking, AFL intelligent far and low beam assist, HWA high-speed driving assistance, and smart courtesy to pedestrians.

In terms of spatial capacity, the front luggage compartment boasts a voluminous 73 liters, while the trunk offers an impressive volume of 480 liters. Additionally, the rear seats provide ample storage space with a generous capacity of up to 1273 liters. All models within this series are equipped with luxurious NAPPA leather seats. The primary driver's seat features advanced functionality including an 8-way electric adjustment and a 4-way electric lumbar support adjustment, whereas the passenger seat offers a convenient 6-way electric adjustment option. Moreover, the front seats incorporate cutting-edge features such as ventilation, heating, memory settings, ten-point massage capabilities and more. Furthermore, the rear seats offer adjustable backrest angles along with heating functions for enhanced comfort. Other notable configurations include remote high-temperature sterilization and disinfection capabilities, negative ion air purification system for improved air quality control against PM2.5 particles in addition to dual temperature zone automatic air conditioning and an immersive audio experience facilitated by a remarkable 16-speaker sound system.

In terms of chassis, the Denza N7 is equipped with front double-wishbone independent suspension and rear five-link independent suspension, along with the standard IPB integrated brake control system. The Yuncar-A intelligent air body control system, in addition to the intelligent chassis and CCT comfort control system, offers advanced functions that are further subdivided. Optional features include the iTAC intelligent torque control system, iADC intelligent drift control system, and iCVC intelligent chassis vector control system. This comprehensive chassis system provides a more detailed range of controls to cater to consumers' diverse car needs. Moreover, SUV models excel in performance compared to sedans.

In terms of the power system, the car's 230kW high-power double-gun overcharging feature is also a notable highlight, enabling quick replenishment in a shorter duration. This characteristic effectively addresses the issue of long charging times during extended drives.
The Denza N7 is initially positioned as a luxury vehicle, with even the base model boasting ample features. However, there exists a significant disparity in terms of chassis specifications. The ultra-long range variant comes equipped with an advanced air suspension system, while the long-range performance version also receives notable enhancements to its braking system.
