Ford Mondeo E-Hybrid Sport

On June 7th, the Ford Mondeo E-Hybrid Sport Edition was officially launched, with two models being introduced. The new car is actually the Ford EVOS model equipped with a 2.0T hybrid system, which has been incorporated into the Mondeo product lineup and renamed as the Mondeo Sport Edition for sales. In terms of power, it is equipped with a 2.0T engine and an electric motor to form the EcoBoost E hybrid system, with a maximum engine power of 212 kW and a maximum electric motor power of 140 kW. The overall system power is 227 kW, and it is matched with an E-CVT transmission system.

The Ford Mondeo E-Hybrid Sport version adheres to the family design concept. From the exterior, it features rich and powerful body lines. The front of the vehicle adopts a unique asymmetrical grille design, with a darkened inner mesh and chrome decorative strips arranged in an orderly manner, giving it a beautiful scale-like effect. At the same time, the headlights on both sides naturally extend along the contour lines, with separate light sources inside known for their aesthetic elegance. In addition, the lower intake is presented in a through-style design, effectively widening the visual experience.

From the side view of the body, you can see a graceful and slender shape, with a lower front end that exudes a strong sense of power. At the same time, by using raised lines for depiction, it creates distinct layers and cleverly incorporates electric elements, such as hidden electric door handles. When experiencing it firsthand, operating the doors multiple times always yields smooth and responsive results without any delay. The bottom is also equipped with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, making the whole vehicle more stylish and atmospheric.

The rear design of the vehicle is also full of dynamic energy. The first thing that catches your eye is the through-type tail light design, with clear and visible light sources on both sides arranged from left to right, and black elements distributed inside for high recognition when lit at night. The top's upturned tail design gives a youthful and energetic feeling, while the bottom creates a layout of dual exhaust pipes on both sides, making the entire rear look more coordinated.

In terms of interior design, black is the main tone, showcasing a clean and professional temperament. Upon closer observation, one will notice that many areas are adorned with red stitching as embellishments, such as the seats, inner door handles, and central armrest box; the texture is clearly visible. Additionally, to enhance comfort during rides, a large amount of soft materials have been used for covering surfaces, providing a soft and comfortable touch when pressed. The steering wheel is made of leather material and not only supports height adjustment and forward-backward adjustment but also has gear shifting function to allow drivers better control over the vehicle.

In terms of powertrain, the Ford Mondeo E-Hybrid Sport Edition is equipped with a 1.5T hybrid power system, with the engine delivering a maximum power of 140 kW and a peak torque of 222 Nm. Additionally, this model is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, providing a total power output of 96 kW and a total torque of 235 Nm. The transmission system is matched with an E-CVT continuously variable transmission. As for the chassis structure, it adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension to ensure stability and comfort during driving.
