On March 21, the new Buick Envision S, a mid-size SUV under the Buick brand of SAIC General Motors, was officially launched, with a total of 3 configuration models available. As a mid-term upgraded model, the new car has undergone significant upgrades in both appearance and interior, adopting the PURE Design design philosophy of the Buick family and equipped with the latest generation of VCS intelligent cabin.

In terms of appearance, based on the PURE Design design philosophy, the new car adopts the latest Buick SUV family design language. The car features a sporty black grille and a 3D woven three-dimensional mesh shape. The long and stretched daytime running lights and the fly bird wing LED headlights adopt a split design.

The body side adopts a dynamic contour design, but the body size has been slightly adjusted, with a body length of 4641mm, shorter than the 4662mm of the 2023 model; the body height is 1638/1647mm, higher than the 1631/1641mm of the 2023 model; the wheelbase and body width remain unchanged.

The rear of the car features a one-piece ducktail spoiler and an electroplated shield plate, chrome exhaust pipe, and a sporty look. It's worth mentioning that the 28T Shiny Black Premium Edition comes with a black sport package, including a black sport grille, 20-inch black aluminum alloy wheels, and black front and rear bumpers, skirts, window frames, side mirrors, and aluminum alloy roof-mounted luggage racks.

In terms of interior design, the new car's cabin adopts a lightweight, lightweight, and suspended design, featuring an EYEMAX 30-inch curved 6K screen and a sophisticated electronic parking brake to highlight a sense of refinement and technology. In addition, the interior is extensively covered with soft PVC leather, and the seats are wrapped in full-grain Moli genuine leather, creating a luxurious atmosphere. In terms of details, the crystal control knob features a "waist" design that combines metal texture and diamond cutting texture, and is equipped with a ring-shaped light strip that complements the 121-color ambient light. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with a new generation of VCS intelligent cabin, which features a new generation of VIP intelligent electronic architecture and is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. It supports remote upgrade of the entire vehicle system through system-level OTA. At the same time, the system provides map navigation that integrates with the interconnected ecosystem, and includes popular online audio/video services. It comes equipped with a rich array of life and entertainment apps, including NetEase Cloud Music, iQIYI Video, Migu Game, Ximalaya, etc. In addition, the car is equipped with wireless mobile phone charging and comes standard with Apple CarPlay wireless mapping across the entire lineup.

The new car is equipped with a new generation of eCruise intelligent assisted driving system, which comes standard with FSRACC full-speed adaptive cruise control, AEB automatic emergency braking, LKA lane-keeping assistance, and 10 other L2-level intelligent driving assistance functions. The 28T Xinhe Zunshang Edition also adds HOLCA intelligent lane-centering assistance, traffic sign recognition, and the third-generation APA automatic parking assistance system. It also introduces low-speed steering 360-degree panoramic imaging and seat vibration safety reminders.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with the 8th generation Ecotec 2.0T variable cylinder turbocharged engine and the Ecotec 1.5T four-cylinder direct injection turbocharged engine. Both engines are equipped with a 9-speed HYDRA-MATIC intelligent transmission and a 48V mild hybrid system. Among them, the 2.0T engine can intelligently switch between four-cylinder high-performance, four-cylinder fuel-saving, and two-cylinder ultra-fuel-saving modes, and can output a maximum power of 174kW and a maximum torque of 350N·m. The WLTC combined fuel consumption is 7.3L/100km. The 1.5T engine can output a maximum power of 155kW and a maximum torque of 270N·m. The WLTC combined fuel consumption is 7.23L/100km.
